Steve Robinson is the owner of Urban Farmer Steve, LLC, a family-owned urban farm located in Cherry Hill, NJ. Steve served in the Army as a logistics officer for 9 years. Steve distinguished himself in the military earning numerous achievements including the Bronze Star Medal, the Combat Action Badge, and the National Defense Service Medal. Steve transitioned from the military into working in various roles for the Federal Government. Steve is a Valley Forge Military College ROTC graduate and is also Rutgers University Alumni.

In 2022, Steve completed the Veterans to Farmers Controlled Environment Agriculture training program in Denver, Colorado which helps Veterans assimilate effectively, productively, and permanently into private citizenry by training them in various types of agricultural practices and typically leads to careers in farming or business ownership. Steve has a passion for sustainability and how controlled environment agriculture can positively change the way that farming has been traditionally practiced, primarily In urban areas, and how it is essential to providing healthy, year-round food options for communities with high populations.

Urban Farmer Steve received a grant from American AgCredit to purchase a complete hydroponic system that he will use to expand his farm. Focused on providing nutrient-dense whole vegetables to schools in his area, Steve is leading the way for his local community. By growing vegetables in an area with high levels of food insecurity among its members
